Blazing Banners

The Army of the Blazing Banners, almost exclusively simply called the Blazing Banners or by the Tway name Aramgalur ("bloody surcottes"), was the army of Armyn, King of the Isles during the Sunnish War. It consisted of the armies of the House of Maigher, its sworn vassals, and their allies, compiled for their conquest of the Summerly Isle. The number excluded, of course, those vassals and allies of the Maighers who did not send any soldiers to go to war with them.
In addition to the main army, there was also a fleet of the sworn sails of the Maigher's retainers, as well as myriad pirate, Beggard, and mercenary crews.
